"I'm sorry I should stop bugging you with annoying questions. I just want to make sire that you are alright that's all. " he said as he fooled her as she sat by yet another log at it hot darker out andante stars began to shimmer in the night sky

"It's nice to have someone who annoys me with questions of whether or not I'm fine, though," she found herself saying as she rested her chin in her hands. She sighed, and then finally decided to answer his question. "I just saw your tattoo and I think I've seen it before. It just kind of surprised me," Regina said and looked up at him.

"Oh you mean this tattoo ?" he said as he showed her his lion tattoo "What's so special about my tattoo that it seems to trouble you so much? Do you not like tattoos? " he asked wondering what could be so special about his tattoo that could make her so uneasy.

Regina's eyes locked on his tattoo, and she found herself struggling to pull her gaze away from it. Finally she managed to look back up at Robin. "No, it's not that I don't like them...I just...I've seen you before in our land," she said and figuring it was too late to go back and not tell him the story, she went on. "After I had become Queen, a friend and I, I guess you could say went down to this tavern. She was trying to get me to say hello to this handsome stranger there and when I looked inside I happened to catch a glance of your tattoo," she replied. It was just like Regina to be vague and not come out directly and say who the stranger was and she definitely wasn't going to say why her "friend" had been trying to get her to say hello.

"so you think friend that your friend wanted you to go onside and meet me ? " I smiled not really understanding why when you were queen and married would you want to go into a tavern and meet a man that you had never met before. It didn't make much sense to me but I wasn't about to ask you another question and make you feel more uncomfortable then it seemed you already were.

Regina crossed her arms over her chest and raised an eyebrow at Robin. "I never said it was you," she told him but she knew her vulnerability on the subject had probably given away the fact that it had been, indeed, Robin. Suddenly her gaze was on the ground and she couldn't bring herself to look up at him any longer.

If you want Regina I can lead you back out of the woods towards the town. You seem a bit irritated with me and its getting rather late. " he said as he noticed to she would no longer look at him. He felt as though he had upset you with something he had said and he still wanted you to trust him so he felt that maybe you just need to go home and get some rest after such a long and hard day .

"Sorry I didn't mean to come off that way," Regina said as she shook her head. "If you haven't noticed, I'm not the best with people," she said as she stood up, unable to disguise the yawn that was already leaving her lips. "You are right, it is getting late and I'd love an escort back to town." Regina glanced up at Robin briefly and offered him a small smile.

He returned the smile as he walked her back from the cliff side though the forest as they once again pushed through the branches and stepped over large tree roots that stuck out from the ground. After a while of walking I we made it to the town that I wasn't very familiar with but you led the way thankfully since I had no idea where you lived. You led the way as I walled beside you right up to your front door.

Regina produced a key from the top of her door frame and before she unlocked the door to go inside she turned towards Robin with a small smile. "Thank you for everything, for being so patient with me today," she said and without even a second thought, despite how torn she was about the idea of befriending the man with the lion tattoo, she leaned in and gave him a quick peck on the cheek, suddenly realizing his forest scent and how well she actually kind of liked it. "Goodnight, Robin." Then the realization hit of what she'd just done and she felt a blush warming her face once again.

"It was my pleasure Regina. I hope to see you again soon. Goodnight. " he smiled as she kissed him a slight blush created up his cheek. He then nodded his head a good night as he backed away from the house with a smile after bidding her good night.

Regina waved as he backed away and unlocked the door to her house before locking it up again. She went upstairs and dressed for bed, sliding under the covers as her eyelids drooped from exhaustion. That night she couldn't help but lie awake thinking of Robin Hood for no apparent reason for at least an hour before she eventually fell asleep.
( do you wanna skip to, like, the next day or something? )

He walked back home after a long walk through the forest. He couldn't stop thinking about Regina, even when he had finally managed to get some sleep his thoughts were still of her. He just could not get her out of his head .

The next morning, Regina had battled with herself for a good few minutes on whether or not to stay at home all day. After her mental battle, she'd eventually gotten out of bed and had gotten ready for the day. Finding herself too lazy to make breakfast, she grabbed her purse and walked down to Granny's, figuring a few apple pancakes didn't sound all that bad. She was a bit nervous as she walked down the streets of town and entered Granny's, but she had been seated without complaint and her order had been taken. A pile of apple pancakes sat in front of her and she began to eat her meal.
