Regina watched the sky in amazement, smiling at the brilliant shades of reds, oranges, pinks, and purples that swirled among the clouds. The evening was perhaps her favorite time of day but it had been a long time since Regina had ever taken the time to enjoy the sunset. She found herself staring in awe, hands in her pockets, smiling up at the sky, dark eyes reflecting their brilliant colors. "It's been a long time since I've seen anything this beautiful," she said after a while.

"Yes well the forest does have its beauties. You know Regina it may be beautiful but it can't compete with your beauty " he smiled shyly as he glanced over at you the sun light was hitting you perfectly.

Regina tried to will herself not to blush but at his compliment, she could feel her entire face grow warm and probably grow as red as an apple. She suddenly felt really nervous and had found herself searching for words. Oh, jeez, what was going on with her today? Regina's hands curled into fists inside of her pockets. "Is that so?" she asked after a moment once she felt she could trust herself to speak and turned to Robin with a raised eyebrow.
( feels...feels...FEELS xD )

"It is true. Those things called movies, I think they have it wrong I think it is you who is the fairest of them all. " I smile looking at you with a caring smile as I saw you blush slightly it made me a bit more confident

"You're very flattering," she chuckled, still unsure how to react since she had been so incapable of feeling anything for the longest time. "The movie has a lot of things wrong," Regina said after a moment, feeling another blush creeping along her skin. For one thing, Regina was certainly not jealous of Snow White. She wasn't jealous of her stepdaughter's beauty nor the fact that she had her prince charming and a family or even that she was loved by everyone and Regina was hated. No, Snow White had hurt her and that was why the two had a rivalry, one that probably didn't matter anymore. Regina was tired of revenge. She didn't want to be the Evil Queen anymore. She wanted to be Regina. "I didn't try to kill Snow White because I thought she was prettier than me and that's certainly not the reason I enacted the dark curse."

"It never convinced me for a second that that was the reason why. And anyways those movies are messed up I'm a fox in mine ." I shook my head remembering the movie. I was a fox who the hell though I was a fox . "So why did you really cast the curse what was it that snow really did ?"

"Henry used to watch Robin Hood all the time when he was little," Regina said nostalgically, thinking back to her little boy who would always tromp around the house whenever the movie would come on like one of the merry men. Then she began telling the tale she hadn't told anyone in a very long time. "Well, I rescued Snow White one day when she was just a little girl, about ten years old perhaps and I eighteen. She was on a horse that had gone wild and I helped her off. In turn her father, the King, felt the need to ask for my hand in marriage because he figured I'd be a good mother to Snow. I didn't want to marry him because I was in love with our family stable boy, Daniel. But my mother accepted. Daniel and I got engaged in secret and we planned to runaway but Snow White overheard and saw us. She promised not to tell my mother but ended up doing so anyways. My mother came to Daniel and I the night we planned to run. She ripped his heart out and I was forced to marry the King. Ever since then I've always just had it in my heart to get back at her for it," she said with a sigh. Tears sparkled in her eyes but Regina refused to let them fall down her cheeks.

"I understand... you were forced into a position you never wanted to be in in the first place.I'm sorry that you lost Daniel. I know why its like to lose someone you care about. I lost my wife a while back I was doing a job that put her in harms way... its my fault she died" I said as I looked down remembering Marion and how I had lost her.

"I'm sorry about your wife," Regina returned finding it amazing how the two of them understood what it was like to lose what you loved most. When Robin looked down, an obvious sign of his sadness, Regina moved closer and rested a hand on his shoulder. "At least we understand each other's pain."

He nodded as he looked back up at her with a kind smile." yes I guess you're right at least we understand one another . " He was getting a bit hot so he rolled up his sleeves revealing his tattoo . He smiled at you as the sun had now completely set and it was getting dark.

Her eyes fell to him rolling up his sleeves just out of habit to see what he was doing. It was the splotch of ink on his skin that caught her eye and Regina peered closer in the dim light. Slowly, the tattoo began to make a shape and she knew where she recognized that tattoo from. A flashback went through her mind of Tinkerbell showing her the man in the tavern with that same tattoo on his forearm, the man the fairy had claimed was Regina's other true love. Suddenly, she felt weak in the knees as all explanations to her weird emotions were solved just like that. She moved her hand off of his shoulder and gazed out at the fading sunset. Here was her true love and he had been under her nose all of this time.

"Regina are you alright ? " he asked as he could tell something was on her mind and he wonder what it was since she had pulled away from him all of a sudden

Regina flinched slightly, having forgotten that he was still there. Her voice brought her crashing back down to the real world and she offered him a sheepish smile. "I'm fine," she responded but she wasn't sure how convincing she sounded because of the way her voice shook when she spoke.

"are you sure Regina? You seem a bit shaken up.... " he said as he had noticed her shake voice and how she would barley look at him. He knew it was something he just didn't know what it was

"I'm fine," she snapped and refused to look at the thief, instead focusing her gaze on the stars which were becoming more prominent in the night sky. Her head was spinning, knowing that her true love was standing right next to her, knowing that she felt some sort of an attraction to him and he to her. Regina ran her fingers through her hair and took a deep breath. "Sorry, I didn't mean to snap. I think I just need to sit down," she said and looked around to find yet another log. She walked over and sat down on it, trying to gather her bearings before she really said something she regretted.
