"I don't think that's true Regina. Perhaps just at this moment he thinks Emma is the hero and his mother. But Regina when it comes down to it no matter what you've done in the past you were always there for your boy. You always took care of him. He won't forget that Regina. Henry will soon realize that he made a mistake Regina he loves you trust me. " I looked at you trying to help your confidence. "Don't lose hope Regina. "

Regina looked back up at the thief, figuring she'd saved herself from crying. His words planted some hope inside of her, but she wasn't one to trust words easily, she needed solid proof first and right now, she had none. But, the spark of hope had already been lit and she decided that maybe Robin did have a point. "Thank you," she said and then shook her head, a small smile creeping up on her thick lips. "I'm sorry. I'm dumping my life woes all over you." Regina then gave Robin an apologetic look.

"Its not a problem Regina. Trust me its better to tell someone then keep it bottled up. And of you ever need someone to talk to about anything Regina id be happy to help . You are no burden." I smiled kindly as you as I saw in your eyes that I had given you some hope with your son.

Regina leaned her head back against the tree the log was propped up against. "Thank you, Robin," she said, putting a lot of sincerity into her tone. Nobody had ever told her that they'd be there ever. Not even her own father had given her such a promise. The last time she could recall someone telling her they'd always be there for her was Daniel, but he was long gone. "But I must ask why you would be willing to help me?"

"Because you deserve someone to be there for you and it seems as though I've got that position." I smiled playfully "I'm helping you because despite all the rumors of the evil queen I don't think over seen her. Ive only met a woman who is having a hard life and who needs someone to watch out for her ... and id be more than happy to do so. " he smiled at her he knew what she had done in the past but know seeing all the pain she had just gone through with her son today he knew there was more to her story than just being the evil queen .

"You are the first one to offer that, thank you," Regina said. She could only think of one other time that she'd been given the opportunity of such innocent help that didn't come with a price and that had been all of those years ago with Tinkerbell. She had totally blown off that help though and since then had never received it, until now. The Queen got up from the log and brushed off her pants to be sure she didn't have any debris from the log on them. "Would you care to go on a walk? I haven't visited the forest in quite some time and I'd like to familiarize myself with it again," she offered.

"Well, then lead the way. It doesn't matter where we go, I just need some time away from the town," Regina responded and gestured out towards the forest that surrounded the two of them. It was such a beautiful day, she noted, now that she had gotten over the majority of her gloom long enough to at least peek over at the bright side of things. After a moment of watching Robin retrieve his bow from the base of the tree, Regina smiled, perhaps the biggest smile she'd given in many days but it still wasn't a full one quite yet. "I can't believe you lived out here for twenty-eight years and I didn't know."

"Well after a while you get used to it. The forest has some perks like at night the stars are the brightest and the sunset is beautiful ." I smiled as we walked through the thick forest stepping over tree roots and pushing through branches. As the sun shown beautifully through the trees

Regina stepped carefully after Robin, being sure not to trip and fall and make a fool of herself. She wasn't accustomed to being in the forest like he was, much less traveling on foot through the foliage. "I'm sure it is beautiful," she agreed, remembering how back in the Enchanted Forest she would always love to stand at the balcony in her bedchambers and watch the sun sink behind the clouds. It was probably even more stunning looking up rather than out though.

"you know its almost about to set I'm sure if we hurry to the cliff side we can make it there in time of you want to see it. " I smiled as I slowed my pace remembering that you were not used to this much walking and not familiar with the forest trails

"I'm going as fast as I can," Regina huffed but there was a playful gleam in her eyes. Why was it that she was taking to the thief so quickly and easily? She shook the thought away even though it'd probably resurface later on. "Unless you want me to fall."

"I'm sorry Regina I forgot that your not used to this. I know a short cut I'm sure we can make it " I smiled as we started walking until we came across a giant fallen tree. I climbed up on to it and extended my hand towards you to help you.

Regina was glad to hear the news of a short cut. She wasn't sure how they were going to make it otherwise. She watched as Robin climbed over the giant tree and then extended his hand to her. A bit hesitantly, she grasped his hand, fighting off the emotion of annoyance when she felt a tingle spread throughout her entire body and used him to successfully get over the tree trunk without falling. "Thanks," she said and dusted herself off.

"you're welcome" I smiled as we hopped down over the log and finally made it to the cliff side and the sun was setting. We had made it just in time the beautiful colors graced the sky along with the sun. I looked over at you to see your reaction. O hoped that you liked it.
