"I don't think so," Regina disagreed as she straightened herself up and held his art project in her hands. It had been a long time since she'd gotten an art project from a little boy. Henry had often times given them to her, and she missed those times when he had brought them home to her. It was nice to finally be appreciated by a young boy again. "And I'm sure your father thinks you are a lovely artist too." She gave Robin a look and nudged him with her elbow.

Regina smiled at father and son before an idea popped into her mind and before she could even give it a second thought, the words were already flowing from her mouth. "If the two of you don't have any plans for this evening, perhaps you'd like to come over to my place for dinner?" she asked.

"Great!" Regina exclaimed, perhaps a little too excitedly for her own good and offered Robin and Roland a smile. It had been such a long time since she'd had company over...perhaps the last time had been when Owen and his father had visited Storybrooke. That certainly hadn't turned out well for anyone. "Well, I'll see you then?"

Regina hurried home, unsure of the emotions that flowed inside of her. She felt equally excited and nervous all at once as she rushed inside and grabbed a recipe book off of her island counter. What kind of food would Robin and Roland like? Obviously, it had to be pleasing to both adult and child. She flipped through until she found her famous lasagna recipe and pulled it out. She'd fed this to children before, as well as adults. Henry had really loved the meal. Regina whipped up the lasagna, taking her time to be sure that it was perfect and while it was baking, she set up the table with plates, silverware, cups, and wine glasses, as well as lighting a few candles. I hope it looks alright, she thought and then as she looked down at herself, she wondered, do I look alright? She hurried to the bathroom to check her hair and makeup, making a few touch ups before sitting on her living room couch and awaiting her guests' arrival.

Robin had clean himself up a bit before he went over he took a shower and changed his clothes as he made sire Roland was presentable as well. He took Roland with him to the flower shop and he bought a bouquet of flowers for Regina. Then father and son headed to Regina's house and walked up the porch steels and knocked on the door and waited.

As soon as the rap on her door came, Regina was up in a flash and bouncing towards the door. She put on a bright smile as she opened it up and found Robin and Roland standing on her porch. She swung the door open further and stepped off to the side to allow them room to enter. "Hello. Come on in."

"Why thank you you Regina. " Robin smiled as Roland ran in the house and robin shook his head at his son. Then robin pulled the bouquet of roses he had gotten earlier out from behind his back and handed them to her. " well it seemed my boy seemed to really impress you with his flower drawing so I thought that I had to do something as well. And of corse you invited us over for dinner So I owed you anyways. " robin smiled sweetly .

Regina's eyes widened in surprise when she saw the bouquet of roses Robin had bought for her and she gratefully accepted his gift. "Oh, they're gorgeous," she exclaimed and her nose hovered over the bright red flowers to take in their scent. "Thank you," she said with a kind smile and gestured for him to step inside. "I'll be right back, I'm going to put these in a vase," she said and stepped back into the kitchen, reaching up into a cabinet for a vase which she filled with water, stuck the roses inside and set them on the dining table. "Both of you make yourselves comfortable and I'll get the food. I hope you like lasagna."

Regina headed back into the kitchen and grabbed the container of lasagna, placing a large fork on top to cut out servings. She laid it down on the table and disappeared back into the kitchen for a bottle of wine and a pitcher of water before sitting down across from both of the boys. Then, she gestured towards the food. "Help yourselves," she said as she poured herself a little water and wine. All of a sudden she didn't feel very hungry, nervous perhaps because of her guests. She'd never felt nervous like this before.

They spent the rest of the evening together chatting and talking about Roland in school and things around town. It was getting late and Roland had moved onto the couch as he was watching TV and robin was in the kitchen with Regina helping her clean up as he would dry the glasses and dishes with the towel.

Regina heaved a sigh when she saw Robin begin to help her with dishes. "You don't have to help. You are the guest after all," she told him as she dried a plate in her hand and glanced up at him with a small smile.
