What was that? Regina shot up in bed, a hand over her heart to calm it's quick beating. Her breath came out heavy as she looked around her room, crawling out from underneath the covers and slowly sitting on her bed. Was she just being paranoid? Something didn't seem quite right.

He heard the noise again and turned in his bed getting up and pulling the covers down from the bed as get stood out of bed.

Regina flinched when she heard the noise once more and climbed out of bed, walking towards her bedroom door and opening it. What could possibly be making that noise?

Robin walked out of his room looking for the source of the sound "you hear it too?" he asked as he saw Regina in her night gown standing in her doorway.

Regina gave Robin a slow nod and took a step out of her bedroom. "I do," she answered, looking this way and that. "Is it maybe Roland?" she asked.

"I certainly don't have a dog," Regina said as she took off down the stairs to the front door where she peeked out the window, looking for anything that could be outside.

"There !" I pointed at a little hippy that was huddled in the corner. "there is our culprit. " I said as I opened the door to your house and knelt down beside the dog petting it gently " hey there buddy . What's wrong? " then as I touched it paw it yelped "she sprained her paw. "

Regina knelt down beside Robin, giving the puppy an unsure pat on the head. She'd never really taken to having a pet, besides her horse Rocinante, which brought up another point that she was more of an equine lover rather than a canine lover. Magic sparkled in her hand and she leaned down to place it on the pup's paw that seemed to heal over instantly, although it left Regina a little drained of energy. "All better," she said and scratched the dog behind the ears before looking around to see if the owner was anywhere nearby, if it even had one.

The puppy licked Regina's face and cuddled next to you . She was a black lab puppy. "Looks like she really likes you Regina. " robin smiled and noticed after she used the magic she seemed weak and drained.

"I suppose she does," the Queen responded, wrinkling her nose when the puppy licked her face. Regina held the small lab to her chest and gently rubbed it's back. "That's a first," she muttered and blinked tiredly. "Well I don't see anyone looking for a lost dog in the middle of the night, so I suppose she'll just have to join the slumber party," Regina told Robin as she slowly rose to her feet.

"she's a beautiful little girl. " he smiled at the puppy and then back at Regina as he followed her back inside
